In 2019 Christine was looking for things to fill in Droughtlander and decided to make her own 18th century outfits for an Outlander related event that she and her daughter attended every year. Then the pandemic hit and their event got cancelled so she decided to sell her 18th century stays on Etsy. She quickly learned there was quite a demand for 18th century stays and began sewing more as well as offering more 18th century clothing.

One day she accidentally ordered plaid fleece fabric instead of plaid flannel fabric for skirts. Her daughter Jessie had just purchased a Cricut so they decided to make pillows out of it using Jessie's creative Outlander inspired designs. Before they knew it the were branching out into making all sorts of crafty Outlander items and gifts.
